The Oberammergau Passion Play – A Once in a Lifetime Event
Few events are more spectacular than the world-famous Passion of the Christ performed in the idyllic Bavarian village of Oberammergau, Germany. For almost 400 years its inhabitants have been commemorating and celebrating the life and death of Jesus the Messiah. This year almost 2,000 local residents will present the story of Jesus from the time He enters Jerusalem to His Death on the Cross and the triumphant Resurrection.
The Oberammergau Passion Play is presented for a few months only once every decade. This year you may enjoy it only from May 15 through October 3.
