Yeah it’s definitely much easier to travel in a limousine or taxi rather than using public transportation…especially if you are a tourist visiting.
I think the best way to travel as a tourist is by hiring a limo company or car service, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. Plus, the ride in itself is an experience to enjoy with your party.
I planned just a one day get away with my daughter and friend and her daughter. Flew into Treviso airport(08.45) and was able to skip the bus ticket line and have our driver waiting there with my name on a piece of paper ready to wisk us away on our holiday. I called 12 hours before we flew in and they were able to take care of us. We paid €55 to get to Venice in 40 minutes!! Or we could have done the bus would have cost 4 of us, €24 total and 90 minutes. Double the price but half the time, sooo worth it. We told him to meet us between 19.15-19.30 to take us back to the airport, when we got there at 19.05 and he was there waiting us! Same amount again to get back but got to the airport in 45+ minutes versus the bus that would have taken 2+hours during rush hour. Which gave us 1.5 hours more of sightseeing!!! English was great, service was great and the van(seats up to 8 people) was clean. I highly recommend them!! Thanks for the great service!
